My Beautiful Weekend

A week and a half ago I got the privilege of going to a Women's Retreat on the beach. In all my life I don't think I have such a relaxing weekend. So much beauty all in one place and we didn't have one responsibility. 
 I was a very blessed weekend all around. Someone came from the States and had something encouraging to share everyday.
 One evening everyone gathered on the beach to watch the sunset go down. Someone brought a guitar and we sat on the beach and sang till after dark.
  God has so much creativity, Such a variety of birds, animals sights and smells. I think I was born to be outside in all His beautiful creation. Maybe it is just because I grew up always being outside every slip chance I got. Sorry Mom for all the mishief I got into. I wasn't trying to be bad; it just looked fun so why not do it ;p

Waves are a new experinence for me. I am used to swimming in rivers that flow easily and don't push you over. The power is so amazing.

As I was watching the waves come in and go back out I was struck with the realization that they have been doing this since time began. Then I thought maybe God really likes to watch waves and it is one of His pastimes when we aren't complianing and whining about our lives that he gave us.   I don't know just thoughts that went thru my head :)
